About US
Our fundamental concern has always been digitalization of development and enhancing individual productivity through ICTs. We are an independent center with cutting-edge programs. We want to organize multilateral funding/investments and provide specialized professional development and capacity building through our networks to any organization or corporation that wants to employ information and communication technology to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (ICT). We have a core team of five people that come from various backgrounds. What sets our center apart is the network of partnerships we intend to build, invest in, manage, and conduct research in through our programs in order to effectively promote digital development in new ways. We assist local organizations and researchers in using human-centered digital technology to make a difference in their communities.
WHAT WE DO
Programme Management
The C4ICT4D proposes to run programs supported by a variety of significant funders, including specific development programs focused on certain themes to help research institutes grow. We follow international reporting standards and operate in a transparent and accountable manner.
Network
C4ICT4D builds webs of expertise from local project partners to global decision makers, which we like. Our success, we believe, is due to the C4ICT4D networks. Learn about them as well as the other networks in which C4ICT4D participates.
Applied Research
To each C4ICT4D project/programme we support, we insist a local research team is able to verify results, analyse data and add to the body of evidence in digital development. We believe our research programme, and our in-house research expertise is of great value to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals/Agenda 2030.
